Description
After calcium alkalinity and magnesium, potassium and strontium should be the next 2 major elements you stabilize. While nsw levels are around 380 ppm, we prefer to keep our potassium levels a bit higher around 420 ppm as it gives as a nice buffer zone to prevent our levels from dropping too low.
Please note, potassium levels in Seachem salt can be crazy high and we have seen ICP tests coming back with the potassium levels above 500. If you do a liquid reagent test, and its coming back with low potassium and you use Seachem salt please do an ICP before you dose this trace element.
Required Test Type:
Salifert Potassium titration test, Oceamo ICP-OES or ICP-MS
