Shipping Information

We send all water samples to the lab every Monday. To make sure yours goes out on time, please ship it so it arrives with us by Friday. That gives a buffer in case of any carrier delays, so your sample still has a good chance of making the Monday shipment.

Shipping times vary by location, so check how long delivery takes from your area and send it out early enough to reach us by Friday.

Don’t worry about your sample sitting for a few days. The Oceamo vials contain a stabilizer, which keeps your sample good for quite a while. You’ll notice it when you fill the vials.

Missing Stabilizer? dont panic. you can still submit your results but your phosphate levels will not read correctly.

High Selenium - Almost always from ESV Alk
High Silicate - RO Water, your DI Anion Resin needs replacing.

Pollutant:
Lead - Test your tap water, we have seen lead levels as high as 600ppb in Toronto even though the maximum safe levels in drinking water at 10ppb.
Antimony - From UV sterilizers and cheap plastics
Tungsten - From pumps (15ppb is critical)

Copper - "High Copper and Zinc is often from the welds on titanium heaters or from source water (your RO/DI isnt working properly). Also check of exposed wires on equipment" Christoph - Oceamo.
